| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は,歯磨きにおいて利き手交換訓練により歯垢除去効果がどの程度有効か否かを検討することである.対象は健常者22名(男性5名・女性17名)とし,11名づつAとBの2グループを作った.A・Bグループともに非利き手で歯磨きを行うが,Aグループは筆者による歯磨き指導ありでBグループは歯磨き指導なしで行うこととした.歯磨きの実施期間は初回判定から3週間実施し1週間ごとに計4回の判定を行った.4回の判定は歯科衛生士によりO'Learyのプラークコントロールレコード(Plaque Control Record:PCR)を実施してもらい口腔内の磨き残しを算出し,初回と最終判定時の差を比較した.その結果,利き手交換訓練の指導があったグループは磨き残しに若干の改善が見られた. | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The objective of the present study was to determine the effectiveness of changing hand dominance training on plaque removal during tooth brushing. Subjects were 22 healthy individuals (men, n=5; women, n=17) who were equally divided into groups A and B and instructed to brush their teeth using their non-preferred hand for three weeks. Subjects in group A received tooth brushing guidance from the author, while those in group B did not. Examination using O'Leary's plaque control record (PCR), which calculates plaque control in the oral cavity, was conducted by dental hygienists at baseline and once weekly for a total of four examinations. Comparison of PCR indices between the first and final examinations revealed a slight improvement in plaque control in group A. | |||||||||||
