| 内容記述 | 文系の大学生は数学に対して抵抗感を持っていることが授業アンケートで顕著に現れており、「統計=数学」のイメージが固定化している傾向がみられる. 社会でよく耳にするようになった「データ・サイエンティスト」に興味をもち、データの分析や処理を行うことに強い関心をもつ学生にとって、数学に対する苦手意識が学習意欲の障害になっているように思われる. 本論文では、講義を担当したクラスごとで、数学の基礎学力と確率・統計の理解度について比較を行った. また、「統計」に対してどのようなイメージを抱いているのか、統計関連科目を受講した理由は何かを明らかにし、これらの比較分析からクラスごとの特徴を把握し、学生をつまずかせないためにどのような点に注意して授業を行なえばよいか等について考察を行った. | |||||

| 内容記述 | In this paper, we consider how statistics teachers should take care so as to attain a university student's purpose of learning to statistics. We show how beginners of learning to statistics have consciousness of statistics before a beginning of the lecture for each class. We clarify the relationship between basic academic skills of mathematics and understandings of statistics using Correlation analysis and Multiple comparison. We carry out the questionnaire survey. By these questionnaire survey, we investigate the attribute, favorite subjects, the reason that take statistics lecture, and history of studying mathematics when university students were high school students. Moreover, we compare basic academic skills of mathematics and the comprehension of statistics and probability in each class. We find out how scores of these tests are affected by their skills, understandings, and consciousness. | |||||
